December 2020 - Haarslev Industries celebrated delivery of pump no. 2,000 from Unit-pump

Today, Haarslev Industries celebrated delivery of pump no. 2,000 from Unit-pump. The cooperation between Haarslev and Unit-pump goes back more than 20 years where Haarslev has sourced Centrifugal pumps, Progressive cavity pumps, Vacuum pumps and Disc-flo pumps. This particular pump is a heavy duty centrifugal pump from Robuschi - known for its ruggedness and low NPSH value which makes this type of pumps ideal for applications such as Haarslev Waste heat Evaporators. Haarslev Evaporators are used extensively in animal and fish protein applications all over the world to recover valuable proteins from process water.

July 2020 - Grinder system for Sanki, Japan

Photo of the pre-assembled redundant TM2370 grinder system for Sanki-Shiro, Tokyo. The plant collects and process the fish waste from almost all fish markets and restaurants in Greater Tokyo area, and with 30 million sushi lovers this adds up to about 800 tonne fish waste per day consisting of anything from large tuna heads to guts from tiny fish species. Consistent grinding and feeding of raw material with optimum particle size are extremely critical, therefore redundant 50 kW heavy duty grinders type Franklin Miller TM2370, delivered by UNIT-PUMP, Denmark, will be installed. For transport of the raw material to the cooker, redundant LAP400 lamella pumps from JS Proputec have been chosen. Fjell Technology Group has carefully designed the complex system to be tied in between existing machinery and building structures in the already densely packed plant. This week the complete system was pre-assembled at the premises of JS Proputec A/S in Hjørring before it will be carefully packed in three 40' containers for shipment to Japan and installation and commissioning later this autumn.
